I. Glossary of terms
- Museum/Module Operator – The Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw with its seat at ul. Agrykola 1., 00 – 460 Warsaw, NIP: 7010794896, REGON: 369111140, entered in the Register of Cultural Institutions maintained by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage under the number 108/2018.
- Module – a module of the Museum’s website designed for the online purchase of tickets to visit exhibitions at: www.lazienki-krolewskie.pl.
- Museum ticket office – the ticket office located in the Podchorążówka (Office Cadet School) building.
- Terms and Conditions – these terms and conditions for the online purchase of tickets to exhibitions – via the Module.
- Order – an order relates to entrance tickets to exhibitions for individual visitors.
- Ordering Party – the person purchasing a ticket(s) online to visit an exhibition at the Museum.
- Ticket – a document in the form of a printout or legible .pdf file presented on the screen of a mobile device, paid for by the Ordering Party and confirming his/her entitlement to visit an exhibition, within a specified period of time.
II. General provisions
- The present Terms and Conditions define the detailed conditions for purchasing online tickets for visiting exhibitions organized at the Museum.
- The Museum shall provide online ticket purchasing services in accordance with the provisions of these Regulations.
- Immediately after ordering tickets online, the Ordering Party will receive a confirmation of the Order from the system sent by e-mail to the e-mail address provided by the Ordering Party, giving the Order no., the number of tickets ordered, the name of the exhibition, the date, the specified admission time and the value of the tickets ordered.
- Prior to using the ticket purchasing process via the Module, the Ordering Party should read the Terms and Conditions, confirm that he/she has read them and accept their content by ticking the appropriate box in the window that opens automatically in the Module, and then register.
- In order to purchase tickets via the Module, the Ordering Party should have Internet Explorer 11, , Mozilla FireFox 36, Opera 32, Google Chrome 30 or Safari 9 – or newer versions
- The Museum reserves the right to temporarily close the facility where the exhibition is presented due to the organization of another event in this facility, including an official event, or the occurrence of force majeure, including bad weather conditions, due to which the entrance to the Museum Gardens will be temporarily closed to Visitors. In the event of the occurrence of any of the circumstances referred to in the preceding sentence, the Museum shall reimburse the Ordering Party for the costs of the tickets purchased according to the principles specified in section V, item 1 of these Regulations.
III. Online purchase of tickets
- Tickets can be purchased online via the Module
- In order to purchase tickets via the Module, it is necessary to fill in the purchase form and follow the instructions contained therein. The Museum draws your attention to the fact that carelessness in filling in the form could result in the inability to purchase tickets and consequently in the inability to receive a refund for unused tickets, in accordance with the provisions of Section V of these Rules and Regulations.
- When purchasing tickets online, payments are made by electronic transfer or by payment card.
- Tickets shall remain the property of the Museum until the Museum records a confirmation of payment by the Ordering Party’s Bank.
- Payments referred to in clause 3 are handled exclusively by PayPro SA, the owner of the przelewy24.pl portal, with its seat in Poznań, ul. Pastelowa 8, 60-198 Poznań. The operator of the payment cards is PayPro SA Agent Rozliczeniowy, 8 Pastelowa Street, 60-198 Poznań, entered in the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court Poznań - Nowe Miasto and Wilda in Poznań, VIII Economic Department of the National Court Register under KRS number 0000347935, NIP 7792369887, Regon 301345068.
- The Customer has the right to lodge a complaint regarding the payment process directly to PayPro company, the owner of the przelewy24.pl portal. The complaint should be submitted using the electronic form available on the website at http://przelewy24.pl/kontakt/reklamacja, by telephone at +48 61 642 93 44 or in writing to PayPro SA, ul. Pastelowa 8, 60-198 Poznań.
- Ticket prices include VAT. To receive a VAT invoice, select the option – VAT invoice in the ordering process and provide the data necessary to issue the invoice.
- An Ordering Party who has purchased tickets entitling him/her to a discount in the online sales system is obliged to present the document entitling him/her to the discount before entering the exhibition for which the tickets were purchased. Tickets without documented entitlement to a discount do not give the holder entitlement to entry and cannot be refunded.
- Once the online purchase has been paid for and the payment has been credited, the tickets will be sent to the e-mail address provided as a .pdf attachment. The Ordering Party should immediately verify the correctness and consistency of the tickets with the order, in particular the amount, the name of the exhibition, the date and potentially, the time.
- All tickets printed or saved on a mobile device shall be subject to verification prior to entry to the exhibition. In the case of an electronic ticket, please ensure that the mobile device has software installed that correctly displays .pdf files.
- It is the responsibility of the Ordering Party to ensure that the ticket is printed correctly or displayed on the screen of the mobile device and that the ticket is protected safely on their e-mail. It is not possible to send a ticket to the e-mail address indicated by the Ordering Party a second time.
- The Museum reserves the right to refuse admission to an exhibition if the ticket is damaged or illegible and barcode verification is not possible.
- The Ordering Party purchasing tickets online is obliged to comply with the Visitor Regulations, the contents of which can be found directly at the Museum or on its website: Visitor Regulations.
- The inability to purchase tickets via the online sales system does not mean that they cannot be purchased at the Museum Ticket Office, provided that tickets for visits to an exhibition are still on sale.
IV. Complaints
- Ordering Party may lodge a complaint about the ticket purchasing process and the quality of the service provided by the Museum within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date on which the event covered by the complaint occurred, as follows:
- electronically, by sending an e-mail to: rezerwacje@lazienki-krolewskie.pl;
- in writing to the address: Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw, ul. Agrykola 1, 00-460 Warsaw.
- In the complaint the Ordering Party should state: what the complaint concerns, the order number, and the reason for the complaint.
- The complaint will be considered by the Museum within fourteen (14) calendar days of its receipt. Immediately after the complaint has been considered, the Museum will inform the Ordering Party of the resolution of the complaint, in writing or by e-mail to the address provided in the complaint.
- Consideration of the complaint by the Museum shall not exclude the right of the Ordering Party to pursue claims on the general principles set out in the Civil Code and the provisions of the Consumer Rights Act of 30 May 2014 (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 287 as amended).
V. Return and exchange of tickets
- In the event that an Event does not take place for reasons attributable to the Museum, the Museum will accept returns of tickets purchased online and refund the amount paid.
- Purchased tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable, except as stated in item 1 above.
- Arriving for a visit to an exhibition at a date and/or time other than that indicated on the ticket or in the e-mail confirming the Order shall result in not being able to take part in that visit, without the right to claim a refund of the ticket’s purchase price.
VI. Personal data
- CONTROLLER – The controller of the personal data in the Module, i.e. the entity that decides for what purpose and how the data will be processed, is the Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw, address: ul. Agrykola 1, 00-460 Warsaw.
- DATA PROTECTION OFFICER – In matters related to the processing and protection of your personal data, you can contact the Data Protection Officer appointed by the controller via e-mail address: iod@lazienki-krolewskie.pl or in writing to the controller’s registered office address: Royal Łazienki Museum in Warsaw, address: ul. Agrykola 1, 00-460 Warsaw.
- SOURCE OF DATA ORIGIN –The controller processes the data of persons who have completed the Order Form contained in the Module. If a ticket has been sent to a person who did not order it via the shopping Module, his/her data has been provided by the person filling in the Order Form. The personal data obtained when filling in the aforementioned Form includes the following data categories: first name, last name, e-mail address. Optional – telephone number and language version of the Module. And for the purpose of obtaining a VAT invoice, also: address and NIP number (tax identification number).
- PURPOSES OF PROCESSING – personal data of those ordering tickets to visit exhibitions or participate in Events organized in the Museum through the Module shall be processed in order to:
- provide services electronically by concluding agreements with the Ordering Party for the sale of tickets ordered by the Ordering Party using the Module and the performance of these agreements, as well as, after registering an account, for the purpose of placing further orders through the use of the Module for the sale of tickets on the website (Art. 6(1)(b) of the GDPR);
- return tickets and handle any complaints (the basis for processing is Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR);
- comply with legal obligations, in particular the fulfilment of financial reporting obligations (the basis for processing is Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR);
- fulfil the legitimate interests of the controller (the basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), which means:
- carrying out marketing activities in the form of a newsletter – due to specific legislation, activities via e-mail or telephone are carried out on the basis of a separate consent to use the relevant communication channel;
- answering questions sent by Ordering Parties via e-mail and telephone;
- establishing, investigating or defending claims relating to the operation of the Module and the services provided through it.
- PROCESSING TIME – personal data will be processed:
- over the duration of the sales contract between the Ordering Party and the Administrator and, after its termination, until the expiry of the limitation periods for claims arising therefrom;
- with regard to data processed under the legitimate interests of the controller, until the Ordering Party raises a legitimate objection, subject to the following point;
- with regard to marketing activities, until the withdrawal of consent to the sending of such information by e-mail or telephone or until an objection to processing in this respect is lodged, whichever occurs first;
- until expiry of the obligation to store data resulting from legal provisions, in particular the obligation to store accounting documents relating to the sales contrac;
- DATA RECIPIENTS – personal data may be shared with:
- State authorities and other entities authorized to access the data to the extent and for the purpose specified in the provisions of the law;
- external entities providing services to the controller in support of its operations in the scope of the services provided, e.g. transport companies, IT service providers, entities auditing its operations, entities responsible for electronic payments (PayPro SA , the owner of the www.przelewy24.pl portal).
- RIGHTS OF PERSONS WHOSE DATA IS PROCESSED – in relation to the processing of personal data, in cases provided for by law, the Ordering Party using the service has the following rights:
- to access their personal data;
- to amend their personal data;
- to erase their personal data;
- to limit the processing of their personal data;
- to transfer their personal data;
- to object to the processing of their personal data;
- to withdraw their consent to the processing of their personal data where it forms the basis for the processing of their data, which does not, however, affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of their consent before its withdrawal;
- to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection – more information on this right is available at: https://uodo.gov.pl/pl/p/skargi.

- VOLUNTARINESS TO PROVIDE PERSONAL DATA – Providing personal data by the Ordering Party is voluntary, but failure to provide such data will prevent (concerning data indicated in the Order Form as necessary) or may obstruct (concerning e-mail address, telephone number) the controller’s provision of electronic services and thus the Ordering Party’s purchase of online tickets.
- TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES – the personal data of Ordering Parties ordering on-line tickets via the Module will not be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area.
- AUTOMATED PROCESSING, INCLUDING PROFILING – the Administrator will not carry out activities involving automated processing (including profiling) of the Ordering Party’s personal data which could result in legal consequences for the Ordering Parties or otherwise significantly affect them.
VI. Final provisions
- Purchased tickets may not be copied or altered.
- The Museum is not responsible for:
- the functioning of the Internet network via which tickets are purchased;
- tickets damaged or lost by the Ordering Party.
- In the event of any malfunction of the Online Ticket Purchase Module, please contact us immediately by e-mail at: rezerwacje@lazienki-krolewskie.pl.
- When purchasing tickets online, the Ordering Party is obliged to read and accept these Terms and Conditions, to read the information on the GDPR, and to provide authentic data.
- These Terms and Conditions for the purchase of tickets online are available on the Museum’s website https://www.lazienki-krolewskie.pl and at the Museum’s Ticket Office.
- The Museum reserves the right to amend and update the content of the Terms and Conditions. Any change made to the Terms and Conditions will be communicated to the Ordering Party each time by posting information about the change in the Module and placing the amended Terms and Conditions in the Module and on the Museum’s website.
